Hi there! My name is Pete Ford and I am originally from Glen Mills, PA, but have been living in North Jersey for the past 12 years. I went to Ithaca College for my B.A. in English, and now I am at Seton Hall University working on my Masters. Aside from my obvious interest in literature and writing, I am a dedicated musician. I play primarily banjo and guitar, but I will not hesitate to doodle on other stringed thingies. I have been trying to install my self in the north Jersey Irish seisun scene since I moved back in the winter of '09, and it has been a worthwhile and rollicking good time. I also teach banjo and guitar, and have done so since I was in high school. I really love to teach, and hope to do so in the classroom once I get up the nerve to leave school. I went to Ireland with Taryn as a student in 2002, and then as a counselor in 2008, and absolutely loved both trips. I am understandably excited to go back again this year and meet all the new students, though they probably don't know that their in for a trip of a lifetime. See you folks soon!
